[how-to] Fetch RSS Feed And Save To Google Sheet Using IFTTT

 

1. Register an IFTTT account at www.ifttt.com

2. Create a new applet by going to https://ifttt.com/create

3. Click IF THIS button .

4. Type rss to search for a service and click the RSS Feed button that appears underneath

5. Select the first item ie "New feed item".

6. Paste your RSS Feed link

7. Click Create Trigger button. You have completed the first part.

8. Next, click THEN THAT button.

9. Choose a service. Type sheet to search for a service. When the Google Sheets button appears underneath, click the button.

10. Select the first item ie Add row to spreadsheet.

11. Click Connect.

12. Complete actions fields. Just accept the suggested values for now.

13. Both parts are now completed. Click Continue.

14. Review your applet settings for the final round. Click Finish button.

15. Done.
